It was Abbey’s 7th birthday on 16th June, but due to Fathers Day being last weekend we held her party on Sunday 22nd June. I was comissioned to make High School Musical cards for the family for her as that is her current favourite, and I have excess papers and toppers created so have been making extra ones to put in my shop. You can view some of the cards here. I have been experimenting with making my own kaleidoscopes and backing papers to match the topper and I am pleased with the outcome. I will be making more from now-on and then I will give some away as freebies in my shop newsletter.

Stephen returned from London much quicker than he normally does, and this time, with good news. His immune system has started to kick in, his feet and breathing are so much better, and they have reduced the medication given to him and adjusted the quantities of those he still takes. This is so good as it was costing the trust such a lot in medication for him, and now it has been halved. It also means Stephen has more time available because he does not have to spend so much time waiting for his different medication, some before food, some after food, some before the nebuliser, and some after. It was such a regime he had to follow every day, he got up at 6am to start his medicines and was not able to leave the house til after midday. Now he still starts at 6am but is finished hours sooner. I will continue to pray for him…

As soon as Abbey got up this morning she was so thrilled and her first words as she ran down the stairs to me was, “I am God’s Child now, I am God’s Child!” (refering to her comittment to Jesus last night). Her throat and ear did not hurt her at all, and yet yesterday, she was so bad she was crying because she could not even eat or drink! God healed her and saved her all on the same day! I will continue with the antibiotic as she has ready started the course but I don’t think it is necessary.

We had such a wonderful time at the Hope 08 Meeting tonight in Stafford.  Although Craig continued to pray for “ordinary” illness’s he had a set time designated for the terminally ill tonight. My Stephen had just come back from The Royal Brompton Hospital in London and was very tired from the journey and did not attend, so I went forward in his place. We prayed and made a lot of noise, just like they did at the walls of Jericho so long ago. It was very intense and very moving. I will keep you posted as to Stephens health….

Well, Halleluliah! At tonights meeting at the Hope Healing on the Stafford Common, Abbey went forward to give herself to Jesus!

I was surprised, really, we nearly didn’t make it, as Abbey had such a sore throught and earache, she could not speak, or eat or drink and so I thought she would not be able to go. I took her to the doctor in the morning and she was given some antibiotic medicine and spent the day with me. Abbey said she wanted to go for healing, anyway.  We arrived and I asked her to choose where she wanted to sit, and she headed straight to the front! We were on the second row in the middle.  Half way through the worship, she tapped me on the arm and said that her throat did not hurt now and said she was able to sing.  She loves singing to God and picks up the words quickly.

After, when Craig asked for people to go forward to give themselves to Christ and say a prayer of commitment, Abbey asked if I was going to go and I said I had already done it years ago. She said she wanted to go forward and would I go with her.  Not wanting to deny her, we went forward and she prayed to God. She said the prayer of commitment to Jesus and went into the tent to record the event. She was so pleased that her throat did not hurt anymore but I will continue with the antibiotic anyway.

Tonight, while I was at the meeting on the Common in Stafford, I recieved a phonecall from my sister-in-law to say that her husband had just been taken into Stafford hospital with a heart beat of only 25 bpm. She asked if I would take a prayer cloth home for her to take to the hospital, this in itself was wonderous, as Janet is not a believer. When my son, Stephen had recieved healing for his feet at our local church, he went straight around to Janet and was so full of it that Janet was amazed and it is certainly something if she took notice of it enough, for her to ask for healing for her husband!

Craig Marsh is from New Zealand and has a miraculous healing himself. He died on an operating table for 9 minutes and he tells of his story with God in a CD - Intimacy and Lounge Room of Heaven, available from Craigs website here He also had half his stomach and internal organs removed and at a Methodist Revival they were miraculously restored!

13 th to 22nd June - Craig Marsh, a Pastor from New Zealand came to Stafford on a mission of Healing. His website can be found here.  His story is one of miracles in life, healing and ministry and is well worth buying the cd’s that tell of his story. In Stafford, a group of Churches got together and a large marquee was erected on the Stafford Common and nightly sermons were held with calling for commitments to Jesus and afterwards, prayers for healing of the sick and infirmed.

Tonight, Wednesday, 18th June, at 5pm, a special healing session for children was presented.  I took my Abbey along as she only has one kidney and heart problems. She was prayed for and I also took an annointed prayer cloth for my terminally ill son.  Abbey wanted to stay for the singing and sermon but as it is a school night, I said I would take her on Friday.

The stories of healing are coming back, and the people who have turned to Christ is rising. It truly is amazing!

My Abbey was 7 years old yesterday, I made a couple of digital pages and am putting some in my shop  here This is one of them, she made a wish while blowing her candles out, we had put magic candles on her cake so they kept lighting back up again after she had blown them out.

Blowing out the Candles

She delighted in her presents but her favourite was her guitar. We are going to give her lessons.

Playing her guitar

I haven’t finished the album and it requires journaling.

She is into High School Musical just now and so she had a few HSM items for her birthday. A couple of family members asked me to make some High School Musical themed birthday cards so it gave me the idea of putting a few in my shop. I will be adding more as I have loads of pictures to make more cards and I have been designing a few background pages and will be selling some in my shop. This is the card I made for Abbey

Follow the link to my online shop and then look in the High School Musical sections, one is in the commission area and the other is a separate section in the Handmade Cards. Keep checking back as I will be adding more. I can make any similar ones with different greetings and verses depending on the occasion and recipient.

I have been making Fathers Day Cards for my website hereBusy with kids who use me as a taxi all the time and sorting my sons book keeping that I have not had time to attend to my blogs. I will be adding more techniques this weekend.  I have been commissioned to make some High School Musical Cards so I will spend time on those and add them to my site if anyone is wanting to buy some. I will make more than actually commissioned so they have a choice.  Had a Day trip to Southport the other day, took loads of pictures, here is a sample of a couple of digitally scrapped pages.

I created these using my faithful LifeTimez software but have just purchased Serif PhotoPlus x2 so will have fun experimenting with that.

This is just one of the Fathers Day Cards.
