I logged on Facebook today to a surprise of hooking up with some old friends again. The ATC Swap that I arranged has re-united us again. I am very happy. The internet is a good place, I spend about 18 -20 hours a day on the computer, most of the time and a large proportion of them are on the internet.

The hottest social site now is Wowzza! I became a member soon after its’ launch. You can read about it and join here if you are interested in being a member of the big buzz on the internet right now.

When I belonged to another forum that is now sadly no longer with us, we regularly did ATC swaps on different topics. At the time we were in the middle of a swap called Flowers in Bloom.  I have only just come across the cards last week but have now finished them and so will publish the sets here as promised.

My little girl started her new school today, she really loved it! I have taken photos to make a scrapbook page. I love scrapbooking and always take the photos with a page in mind. Here are a couple of raw photos that I will edit as I create a scrapbook page.

1st day Abbey 2nd day

She bought the staff and children some chocolates when she left. They made her a lovely book with all their individual notes as a send off. I am so sentimental that I started to cry when I saw it, but Abbey was excited about her move and wondered what I was blubbering over it for!

This is her with her teachers and the chocs! Mrs Jeavons, her special needs teacher and Mrs Spooner.

And of course, she had to say “Goodbye” to the Lollipop lady, Cynthia Marshall:

It was very sad for me as all my 4 children had attended the same schools.

Yes, I actually saw a Chinese Dragon today! I took my eldest daughter and her family and my youngest daughter to Drayton Manor Park today and we did spy a Chinese Water Dragon in the Zoo. This is a digitally scrapped page of the event.

It was very dark in the reptile house but I found the best photos were taken without a flash because the reptiles were behind glass and it bounced back the reflection.  Not the best photos but good for the conditions.

We had a wonderful day out, the weather was ok with only a bit of drizzle,  just as we arrived, but a good time was had by all. Loads of rides to go on, and we didn’t go on half of them due to the time, but we had a lovely time in the zoo with the girls, Abbey and Georgia.

Another scrapped page:

These pages were made with tLc LifeTimez program which can be purchased here Lots of packages available as add on’s to make scrapbooking so simple.  I couldn’t get the hang of it ’til I tried this program! This album is already 22 pages and can easily be burned on a DVD to send to the rest of my family. I am printing one for Georgia as a keepsake for her, too!
